Let it Shine!
These beautiful lamps were down in Waxahachie, Texas. It is a beautiful place to visit during the holidays. The community glows from all the Christmas lights, decorations, and street lamps. It seemed like there was a wreath on every door, and a light in every window. It was as if they were all waiting for company...perhaps Santa. The Spirit of giving from warm hearts inside shined to those passing by. Cheer! Shine! Sing! Welcome! Hallelujah!
~~~~~~~~
When someone lights a lamp, does he put a box over it to shut out the light? Of course not! The light couldn't be seen or used. A lamp is placed on a stand to shine and be useful.
Amen and absolutely....
And I believe it's sinful to put out someone else's light.
Unfortunately, we humans do it to each other all the time. Helping others shine is an amazing gift to both the helper and the receiver. Supporting and lifting each other up is a barometer of the Heart.
Charming photos! I would use the first one as a Christmas card.
