All in a Day
Two states I have lived in the longest in my life: Texas and Nebraska. They both have in common the ability to go from slick inches of ice to full sun melting it away all in a day. I am glad I didn't have to drive anywhere this morning and that my husband was able to walk to work! There were hundreds of accidents this morning in the metroplex because of the ice. As far as I know, there were no serious injuries.
~~~~~
He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.
He spreads the snow like wool
and scatters the ice like ashes.
He hurls down his hail like pebbles.
Who can withstand his icy blast?
He sends his word and melts them;
he stirs up his breezes,
and the waters flow.
Psalm 147:15-18
