I photographed this Victorian painted lady in Idaho Springs, Colorado. I loved the colors and light on the house as well as all the life around it that gave a welcome to all who passed by. It brought to mind the beautiful paintings of such houses by Thomas Kincaid. He is so gifted in how he uses the effects of light in his paintings. I was reminded in my spirit that Jesus goes to prepare a place for me. It will be illuminated by the light of God Himself.
