Lessons from the Garden #7

I was delighted yesterday to see some purple horsemint for the first time this spring. It comes towards the end of the sequence of wildflowers in Texas. One of my favorites; it is often visited by bees, butterflies, and hummingbird moths. This time it seems to have been visited by a foxy maiden.

God knows I take such joy in the wildflowers. I thank him for the opportunity to be creative and joyful. I thank him for the generous and beautiful things he has given us. He is worthy to be adored and praised!

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.
His love endures forever.
