Make a Joyful Noise

On Saturday morning we had our Ladies and Girls Tea at church. We used musical instruments for some of our centerpieces. The theme was, "He is my Song" based on Psalm 118:14. The morning was filled with praises and it was wonderful to see the young ladies full of enthusiasm as they showed their love for God through making joyful noises.

I remember taking some criticism for a church evening many years ago, for the choice of using Kazoos to make music. It was deemed as an irreverant instrument. I think God loves Kazoos used to give Him praise, don't you??? Whatever instruments you use to praise him, I hope you will sing, bang on something, blow into something (an empty oatmeal box comes to mind for both of these), and become as a little child full of the joy of the Lord, as you give Him praise!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and flute,
praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD,
Praise the LORD.
Psalm 150:3-6
