Words of Promise

This is the view of Superstition Mountain at sunrise from my uncle's backyard. It brought to mind these wonderful words of promise from Isaiah:

The sun will no more be your light by day,
nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you
for the Lord will be your everlasting light,
and your God will be your glory.
Your sun will never set again,
and your moon will wane no more;
and your days of sorrow will end.
~~~~~~~~
Arise, shine, for the light has come,
and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
Connie, that scripture really touched me today. What breathtaking views you have captured - and yet, it't nothing compared to what God gives us!
Missy,
The "Arise" scripture is one of my life verses. I wrote a song several years ago based on it. Have to learn how to get one of my songs on my blog...
It is so hot here...but nothing compared to the 113 degrees in Phoenix. My body remembered how to REALLY sweat!
