Water of Life

As I was searching for path pictures for the previous post I came upon a photograph of Peyto Lake in Canada. I remember putting it on a list of things to see before we took that trip, It was one of those times in life where a picture of something cannot compare to seeing the size, beauty, and essence of it in real life. The expansive color of turquoise for the eyes along with the magnificent smell of the forest was enough to make me dizzy.

I think about heaven, when I will see in a high place the one face to face who is my River; the one whose Spirit washed me and swept me into the flow His love.
~~~~~~~~
And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
Revelation 22:1
Here is a mosaic that I've been working on, on the same verse! That is a very strong scripture verse...and moves me, too.
Karen,
Thanks for posting that work! I know it will bless lots of folks to see it. It strengthens our work together to have a common theme, and also strengthens the Word on which it is based in the hearts of those who see and read. LOVE being your sister in Christ and in His prophetic river!
btw, Karen,
who taught you to do prophetic work?
LOL! Who taught Paul? Well, the Biggest, Bestest Teacher in the Universe! He who ordains and blesses with gifts that are meant to be shared with others and not kept hidden or shackled.
These "watery" verses and thoughts were given to me in reference to this subject:
The arrival of the Day of the Lord, which would include the righteous and unrighteous, is a joyful day for the righteous--with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit!
Joel 2: 28-30
"And afterward,I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy,your old men will dream dreams,your young men will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days.30 I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.
Isaiah 11:9
9 They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD,as the waters cover the sea.
Earth is filled with the KNOWLEDGE of the Glory of the Lord as if an ocean covered over us all. Praise the LORD!
What a blessing, the unfettered freedom of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit! Isaiah and Habbukuk expressed this prophecy as well. Immersion like that of water overtakes the world, transforming men and women into Spirit-Led ministers. Joel specifically said both men and women and young and old will operate on supernatural levels of ministry. Paul also worked side by side with men and women...look at Junia (Even John Chrysotom reluctantly acknowledges her as an apostle), Church leaders Nympha, Chloe, and Paul's fellow minister Priscilla, and the one he sent to the Romans, Phoebe. He called her a deacon of Kenchreai and told them to stand by her in whatever she needed them to do! She became a "prostatis" which means a presiding officer! Paul was wise, indeed, to follow the Holy Spirit! Better that we do, too, don't you think? ;-)
How'd I get started on that? :-)Take the shackles off my feet so I can dance.
Praisin' God.
GO GIRL! That Word got my feet to dancin' too!
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24.
The natural, carnal mind can't receive the things of Christ. The inner person, the spirit , receives what God is speaking.
Absolutely. Jesus died to change our lives, and provided gifts in the Body that would permit Him to reach all of us at any time. By placing limitations on who these gifts may benefit and when they may operate causes the Body to suffer. If limits are applied, then who is at work..the Holy Spirit or the enemy?
Keep doing what you do, sister! It blesses and it pleases Him.
